Former Tower Theatre which was esigned by S. Charles Lee in the Spanish Renaissance style. Built long and narrow, to accommodate its unusual real estate parcel, the Tower Theater's innovative design and exterior is now scarred by street vendors. Its famous tower has been shortened and its marquee has been modernized over the years.
The 12 October 1927 grand opening of the Tower Theater featured the movie "The Gingham Girl" starring George Arthur and Lois Wilson.
The Tower Theatre is designated a Historic-Cultural Landmark. It is also on the National Register of Historic Places.
The building is now adaptively reused as a retail store for Apple.
