The First Street Market, AKA "El Mercadito" is a 2-story open bazaar to find authentic mexican food and products sold by many vendors. Mariachi music is played daily from noon to closing and all weekend. It is arranged similar to enclosed bazaars in Mexico.

  • This used to be the site of the little Sisters of the poor home for men and women. The P streetcar used to run in front of it on first street for many years. It was a beautiful building. Shame it had to be torn down.
