Corindi Beach is a coastal village just off the Pacific Highway in northeast New South Wales. Its closest capital city is actually Brisbane in Queensland about 280km to the north (the capital of New South Wales is Sydney, about 470km away to the south-southwest of Corindi Beach). With a population of around 730, Corindi Beach is one of the smaller towns in Australia. Corindi Beach is at an altitude of approximately 24m.
