Jirikhimti is a village development committee in the Himalayas of Terhathum District in the Kosi Zone of eastern Nepal. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 2682 people living in 509 individual households.
But in today 2010 survey the number of houses and population is triple in increasing number.this is the second market place to buy foods and clothing beside the Myanglung district headquarter.it is also the bus station and junction point for the vdcs like ambung,morahang,srijung,pouthak,samdu,khamlalung,essebu,oyakjung etc.
