Belleville City Hall (City of Belleville)
Built in 1873 and a designated heritage building, the main body of of Belleville City Hall is two and a half storeys and made completely of brick. The upper half storey consists of a mansard roof with dormers on the sides of the building. The French Gothic tower may be termed the finest thing of its kind in Canada, next to the Peace Tower in Ottawa, and is fully recognized for its importance as a landmark and symbol of the city.
