 castle, ruins, archaeological site

Desert residence, built under Walid I 709 a.C., mainly to relax and hunt gazelles. Fortified with thick walls, towers and a main gate, it harboured many roomes around a rectangular court with a reservoir underneath. The site was well chosen: protected in the midst of a crater close to a lake that at least was filled with water in spring.
