Museum of Suwayda, his best and most honest director was Mr. Hassan HATOUM, who worked in Archaeology and discovered many sites and monuments. His main preoccupation was to maintain and preserve the national heritage of Souayda. Thus, he wrote and translated many books about this subject. In present, the monuments and archaeological sites of Djebel Al-Arab are well known in Syria and the whole world thanks to his writings and efforts.
