In 1871, by the architect Nicholas Samonova this mansion in the forms of classicism was erected, as well as the use of decoration in the spirit of the Renaissance.
City estate belonged to the adjutant-general Fedor Trepov. Just two years after the completion of the military was appointed mayor of St. Petersburg.
Interestingly, he ran through the estate Tsaredarskaya street (or Trepovskaya), which later became known as Bankova.
Since 1876 the estate was sold to Sarah Brody - saharopromyshlennika wife and philanthropist Lazar Brodsky.
In 1918, the mansion Trepov-Brodsky, as well as many other private homes nationalized. Although, according to some reports, in March 1918, all 14 rooms of the mansion rented Princess Daria Gorchakov.
For a while during the Soviet period there were Lenin Komsomol and Party.
