The Gorges du Loup (Gourdon)

The Loup has chiselled the rock deeply without so much as widening it inordinately. Its gorges benefit from a penetrating road which enables the motorist to discover the beauties easily. These gorges are a pole of attraction on the Côte d’Azur between Grasse, Vence and Saint Paul. Sometimes big rock falls or landslides make the road impassable. A new tunnel lightens these disadvantages but confiscates some of the spectacle.
