Here, one of the East Timor leader and also member of Fretilin Central Commitee was born. His name is Fernando Teles do Nacimento.

He was selected from the Fatumaca Techinal School to continue his study in Portugal in 1970. He retuned to his homeland in some months before the declaration of East Timor independence in 1975. Together with his younger brother "NIKI", father, sisters and relatives struggled for freedom until the end of their life.
