Palmer's only middle school. This used to be the high school before 1993, but the high school and elementary school were built (with a swimming pool that is 1" short of Olympic regulation!) and this was the middle school. In turn, the 6 village grammar schools (which housed grades 1-8) were then vacated and either demolished (such as Quaboag Elementary), converted into offices (Thorndike Street school and Park Street school), burned down by arsonists (Bondsville Elementary), or just left to rot (Thorndike Elementary and Three Rivers Elementary).
