This is a village 13 km south of Burdwan Town. Hindu, Muslim and Tribes are living here peacefully. The Ghanaram chakraborty sarani(Badulia-Khandoghosh)originates from Arambagh road at the east side of the village bisects this village in two parts. On the south side of this road Muslims and Tribals are living and at the North side so called upper class Hindu lives indicating cast divission clearly
