China / Hainan / Sanya /
 park, interesting place

Tianya Haijiao - the End of the Earth - is located near Phoenix Airport in Sanya, around 15 minutes drive from the airport. It is one of the most popular places for domestic tourists for its cultural bearing. On one of the huge stones on the beach, two Chinese words are written:" Tian Ya" (means the edge of the sky) written by Chengzhe, chief magistrate of Yazhou City during the reign of Yongzheng in Qing Dynasty. On the other huge stone behind it, there is inscribed two other Chinese words "Hai Jiao" (means the utmost end of the sea).

Sanya Greatest World of Love is located on the coast just a 30 minute drive from Sanya, this place is something between a zoo and a circus - not sure exactly how the love fits in. It features tigers, elephants, crocodiles, and pigs. A shuttle bus will take you to four stadiums where shows are performed, each showcasing one of these animals.
