The Poliedro de Caracas is an indoor arena used for sports, concerts, and conventions in Caracas, Venezuela. It was constructed from 1971 until 1974. It is precisely a geodesic dome with a diameter of 145 m (476 ft) and it has a floor area of 27,800 sq m (299,000 sq ft). It is the venue of the 2012 FIBA World Olympic Qualifying Tournament.
