The old scattered municipality of Weer is located in the district of Schwaz, Tyrol, Austria. It lies in the east of the Weerbach (Weer River). Until World War II Weer was a farming village. After WW II, due to developing industrialisation in the peripherials (mainly Schwaz and Innsbruck) it became much bigger and has ca. 1500 inhabitants so far.
