Lei Yue Mun Park and Holiday Village used to be Lyemun Barracks, barracks for the British Soldiers stationed in Hong Kong.
Covering an area of 22.97 hectares, Lei Yue Mun Park and Holiday Village in Chai Wan District on Hong Kong Island overlooks Lei Yue Mun Channel. Surrounded by trees and shrubs, the Holiday Camp offers fine views and fresh air. The buildings inside the Holiday Camp were modelled on the European-style buildings of the early 20th century and the hostels can accommodate up to 282 campers.
