  • This picture makes it look dry and void of vegetation, but if you go there between March and November, you will see lots of green, lots of wild flowers and lots of wild life. The Bunkers Conservation Reserve has am amazing 4x4 WD track (for experienced drivers) that you can travel over Mt Caernarvon. You can book via the Mt Caernarvon Track website. There is no camping on the Bunkers, but it is not far from the Wilpena - Flinders Rangers National Park Camp grounds.
