Saint Mary´s Church (Bridgetown)

This was first the St. Michael´s Church. The actual church was built in 1825 and is the second oldest consecrated ground on the island. It was finished on July 15th, 1827. In the church garden one will find the grave of Samuel Jackson Prescod. In 1843 he was the first colored elected to parliament.
