There used to be Ice Factory and Icecream Factory at this location 50-60 years ago. I wonder if those locations are still there!

I love Okara and have many memories associated it. Our family owned agricultural lands and fruit orchards (Bagh) in the vicinity of Okara, in Gogera, in Karman Wala, and in Marula (North of Renala Khurd). Gogera used to be District Headquarters prior to Montgomery-Sahiwal during British Rule. I grew up in Lahore, but Okara was like a second home for us.

  • once one of my college mate from uislamia college railway road lahore was engaged in ice cream business, i doubt his name was perhaps nisar ahhmed, , i lost him in 1065, perhaps he was employe of may fair ice cream,, his distribution office was located just after the end of safanwala chowk, i am trying to search my fine friend through internet sites, any body having little idea or knowledge help me sincerely naseem ahmed khan karachi/pakistan my email is addpk7@hotmail.com
