Castle Weikersdorf lies at a historical French rose garden, the "Rosarium", in the heart of the imperial town of Baden south of Vienna. Initially a fortified castle, which was first chronicled in 1233, Weikersdorf was adapted to a renaissance palace in the first third of the 16th century, besieged in 1683 by Ottoman troups and is now home to a 4-star castle hotel & spa.
