Wynn Theater (Le Rêve)

USA / Nevada / Winchester /

Home of Le Rêve, a show produced by Steve Wynn to rival the highly successful Cirque du Soleil that he helped launch at his previous hotels (Treasure Island and Bellagio) before he sold his previous holdings (and licenses) to MGM.

The show is in a round stage, filled with water, and seating is in three sections around the circle. Not really a bad seat in the house.

FUN FACT: Le Rêve was actually the original name Wynn planned for his "signature" hotel. The name comes from "Le Rêve" (The Dream, 1932), a noted painting by Pablo Picasso that Steve Wynn owns and loves. He soon opted to name the hotel "Wynn", but the name Le Rêve lives on in the show which is indeed very dream-like in design.
