Valle Nevado is one of Chile's most modern Ski Centers, located 46 kilometers west of Santiago, capital of Chile. It was created in 1988 by french businessmen, taking European Ski Resorts located at the Alps as model to follow. With more than 9.000 hectares of skiable area, it is by far the most extensive, and is considered one of the most modern Ski Centers in Latin America.
