This temple is the only temple in Hong Kong to pays tribute to Lu Ban. He was a Chinese carpenter, engineer, philosopher, inventor, military thinker, statesman and contemporary of Mozi, born in the State of Lu. The temple was built in 1884, it is now a listed as a historical building.
