  • Now it is a worse place to live. A CRACK house operating as a haven for drug dealers and prostitutes has been shut down on a Somers Town council estate. The flat in Walker House in Phoenix Road – bought by leaseholder James Reynolds under the right-to-buy scheme – was forfeited after the council presented evidence to the London County Court in Regent’s Park that it was being used as a drugs den. Bailiffs cleared the flat – with a value estimated at around a quarter of a million pounds – on Thursday morning. The court heard evidence from police and council officials of how neighbours had complained that the property was being used for dealing and prostitution.
