    My great-grand parents, Bien family, migrated from bohol to negros occidental in the early 1800. They settled in a place named "saravia" and finally made their permanent residence in a "sitio" called Damgo as it is known today.The family flourished although most of the surname Bien were lost in the process of marriages to other migrants from Panay province. The blood lines of Bien is all over the world now which I can proclaim proudly that my roots originally came from the beautiful island of Bohol, Philippines.
