Owned Lappeenrannan Lämpövoima Oy ("Lapppenranta Thermal Energy"), which is part of the Lappeenrannan Energia Oy concern.

Natural gas CHP generates electricity, heat and steam. The first phase was put into operation in 1975, the second - in 1977. Maximum capacity of 120 MW of district heating and 105 MW of electricity.
