This church, in early Gothic style, was built in the fourteenth century. It is well worth visiting as it is one of the churches in the area that feature the fine medieval frescoes of acknowledged master Albertus Pictor. You can see his signature on the wall. He worked in the late fifteenth century. The church has a fine chandelier, the largest in the diocese. There is a fifteenth century altar screen. The font was hewn in the thirteenth century.
