This is one of the oldest parts of St. John´s, overlooking the harbour. The restored Georgian buildings are painted in a myriad of bright and vibrant colours. It was the main trading place for slaves, rum, sugar and coffee between Antigua, Europe and Africa. Today it is an open shopping center for tourists from the cruise ships, with shops and restaurants.
