It has a capacity of 75 cubic meters and can accommodate an amount of more than 750 cubic meters of waste in one rosary and will be opened on Independence Day in January 2003. The station is designed to give aesthetic shape to the surrounding area.
 The construction of the Khartoum TS2 and Omdurman Ts3 will be completed during the second half of 2003.
 The cost of civil construction at Al-Quoz Ts1 is about 700 million Sudanese pounds and the cost of equipment is about 800 thousand US dollars
The waste transition station is also known as the waste pressure intermediate stations where the waste is compressed by 1: 4 volume and then transported by containers with capacity up to 75 cubic meters to the sanitary landfill sites.
