The West Indies Oil Company, was first established in 1961 as an oil refinery. While the refinery facilities still exist, the refining operations closed in 1982 and has since functioned as a products-terminal. WIOC´s oil products-terminal provides the nation with the necessary supply of petroleum products. The West Indies Oil Company also operates several strategically-located, service stations throughout the island.
