This bridge is an important pedestrian connection. In the winter the stairs get a lot of ice and it is really dangerous to walk. It is interesting to watch the passing trains from the bridge. On the evenings on the WWII victory days May 9 and on October revolution days in the 1980s residents of all the surrounding buldings used to walk up the bridge to watch the firework display fired far away at the city centre with a lot of jubilation and applause.
