Tallest building in China till September 14, 2007 when it was surpassed by the neighbouring Shanghai World Financial Center.
Grand Hyatt Hotel (5 star) in its top floors. Great place for lunch with views of all of Shanghai. Can tour the top of the building via an observation area. Must See!

  • Great view from the 88th floor (much better than from the Pearl tower IMHO) for 120 RMB ; decent bar at the 87th, but quite pricey too (they'll charge you minimum 150 RMB/person, whatever you'll order + taxes).
