Under the window of one of the houses in the courtyard there remains a small square in the ground with part of the mosaic of the synagogue that was here. The mosaic from the fifth century with the zodiac on it. Hard to find, mainly because the tenants place pots with plants on it. There is no sign or signage and you have to use the local tenants. The inscription "Peace to Israel" from the mosaic was taken to the Rockefeller Museum
