Yanqing District is a subdivision of the municipality of Beijing located northwest of the city proper of Beijing. The county consists of 11 towns and 4 rural townships. This is also the summer escape resort of suburban Beijing, and also the agricultural base of the city. Located about 74 kms (46 miles) northwest of Beijing.
