This mosque was formerly a Baptist Chapel, The West London Tabernacle, originally erected by a Mr Varley in the 1860s. The building was enlarged to an enhanced design in 1871-2 by Habershon and Pite. It is in free Italian Renaissance style and has two corner staircase towers that led to galleries.
