A heath resort, primarily urbanized by the Bengali, now Bihari people dominated, has a lot of almost derelict houses of the Bengali origin people. Surrounded by numerous hillocks there are small falls here and there around the place. Some of the major attractions of Simultala is Lattu Pahar, Dharara fall, Leelabaran Fall, Haldi Fall, Chhati Pahar, Katarwa Forest, Naldanga King's house, Ramkrishna Math, Swami Viveknanda's house etc.
