  Kiwirok merupakan Kecamatan tertua dari Kabupaten Jayajaya, sebelum Kabupaten Pegunungan Bintang terbentuk.

  Kiwirok is one of the old district from Oksibil and is located approx 120km away from the Papua New Guinea. On the eastern part is Okyop, and western part is Okhika, and central part is the old post which is Kiwirok( Polobakon).
