This was the engine shed from 1899 till 1953 for the narrow gauge steam train railway that ran from Wangaratta to Whitfield. Was being used as an engineering works but now appears to be used to store cars.
Some of the original carriages on this line now run on the famous Puffing Billy line at Begrave in the Dandenongs.
