  This bridge was build in the era of Dutch colonial, and was said to be more victims as sacrifices for the building of it. Those victims were the workers from the Javanese people coming from the surrounding area. Renovation of the bridge was done in 1960s just when the writer was still studying in SD. It is now still in well function transporting thousand of passengers daily, even more often the trains in nowadays time.
