Recanto da Cascata is a beautiful public park, which is situated in the heart of São Roque. The wine festival used to take place there, but nowadays the only festivals that take place there are the Artichoke and the Carpet Festivals. The park has a great variety of plants, trees and birds. There is also an astonishing waterfall over which there is a wooden walkway and a sports gym. Since it is so well maintained, people go there to relax and practice sports. This particular park can really show the tourists that São Roque is a city with an excellent quality of life.
