Bang Bao Pier (Bangbao fishing village)

Bang Bao pier is the largest and most popular of all the fishing villages here. Local authorities have improved this area immensely and consequently it has attracted a lot of new businesses. Many of the best seafood restaurants on the island which are situated here offer their guests some spectacular seafood menu choices. Crabs, Mantis Shrimp (huge), Grouper just to name a few. Of course shops abound. Everything from souvenier to clothing can be found here at reasonable prices. Dan Mai is a sleepy little village with local residents just doing their thing.
