It is a big pond. It is considered that it was built by Pal kings. It is spread in 90 Bighas. During the rainy season,it is filled by rainy water. The water stored in this pond is used by the farmers to irrigate their crops. It is a very beautiful site and it appears as a mini lake. Sitting at its bank we may take enjoyment of a hill station. Spending morning and evening time at the bank of this pond is very enjoyable. During the Chhat festival women offer their arag to god of sun. This pond may be developed as a big piknik spot, if it is converted in a mini lake. But villagers who reside nearby this pond are engage in encroaching it area. Farmers are also encroaching it area in their field. This pond may be preserved from encroachment,as it is the backbone of Pachna village. It also help in maintaining the waterlayer of this village
