Initially donning the role of a Jesuit Church, the Premonstratensian church in Kosice, Slovakia is the most precious Baroque object of the town of Kosice, as it is particularly known for the splendorous interiors. The Premonstratensian is but a Christian religious order belonging to Canons Regular that had been founded at Premontre found near Laon in the year 1120. During the Middle Ages, the site pertaining to this present church had been occupied by the Royal House, which had been a seat belonging to the Royal Chamber.
