Hazrat Khawaja Shah muhammad Suleman Taunsvi (Peer Pathan) (1184A.H/1770CE-1267A.H/1850CE) was a Sufi saint. Hazrat Khawaja Shah muhammad Suleman was born in pakhtun tribe jafar of Darug town, District Loralai, Balochistan province of Pakistan. His dargah , (shrine or tomb) lies in Tehsil Taunsa sharif of district Dera Ghazi Khan of Punjab province in Pakistan. Taunsa Sharif is located on the Karachi-Peshawar Indus High way near and the headworks on the Indus River called Taunsa Barrage. His urs (annual death anniversary) is celebrated at his shrine every year from (5-7) Safar al-Muzaffar, second month of Islamic Calendar.

    Mr Hussain says its wonderfull spiritual place, where you can feel spirtuality and peace.. Hazarat shah suleman taunsvi is the king of said area. he is called usually shahbaz of silsila-e- chisht.
