This Steam Train was built in 1919 by the Baldwin Locamotive Company of Philadelphia, the train (when running) takes a trainl load of passengers on a 2.5 hour trip thru the Valley 16 kms east of Trinidad to a 1750 Estate of Manaca Iznaga, with a 44 meter high tower, overlooking his slaves in the sugar cane plantation. Five kms further is the Casa Guachinango and old hacienda built at the end of the 18th century, where the guests are provided a lunch and refreshments at their own expense. Well worth the sites and sounds.
