Petit Ouvrage in the Crusnes sector of the Maginot Line. Originally planned to be a Gros Ouvrage with 6 combat blocks and two entrance blocks, Bois du Four was completed as only a single monolithic block containing both anti-infantry, anti-tank and artillery elements.

The ouvrage is somewhat unique in its design and contains a symmetry not usually encountered in large Maginot Line structures. Ouvrage Bois du Four has since been preserved and turned into a museum under the control of a local preservation group.
