18 Hole Golf Course serving and located on Fort Gordon, Ga. Only military, retirees and dependents are allowed use of the facility with few exceptions. Notably, a tradition existed (unsure if still ongoing) where the winner of the Masters in nearby Augusta would play a round of golf with a few soldiers from the base, picked by lottery, shortly after the annual tournament.
Gordon Lakes has also hosted the Armed Forces Golf Championship a number of times. This is a very highly regarded golf course among those operated on US Military Bases.
