Many Chinese tourists come here to get a glimpse into life at North Korea. At this location there is a rock that has the words "One Step Away" etched into it, referring to the fact that North Korea is literally just a few meters away. Many people pose with this rock as the Korean farmers working in the fields can be easily captured in a picture. The farmers are very visible and certainly within hearing range although communicating with the Koreans is strongly discouraged.
