Gus Cafe - one of the oldest cafes in Canberra. The original proprietor fought the Federal Government (when the ACT was governed federally) and then the ACT State Government for the right to stay open after 9PM. He succeeded in bringing the cafe culture to Canberra, and is remembered by a memorial plaque on the pavement nearby.
