This is a small, beautiful village located in the lush green fields along the defense road. It is located about 3 KM on the south-west side of city Malout. This village is sometimes fondly known as "WOODLAND" village or "CHHAPSVILLE"
Prominent landmarks inside this village are two water-pools ("Chhappars") on either side of the town. These were bathing places for animals (cows, buffaloes, etc) in the past (and even swimming places for us!; mujjh de poosh fadke pishe-2 taerna). But these days, these mostly collect waste water (sewage). I wish a park was built in their place.
